As children of God, we will never be forsaken or forgotten by the Father. Our savior, Jesus Christ, was forsaken by the Father as he hung upon the cross, as He cried out with a loud voice. How dark that must have been. We are blessed beyond measure to never face that darkness. Pastor Kenneth Brantley reflects from Psalm 22 which foreshadowed the words of Jesus.
Pastor Kenneth Brantley reminds again of the great blessing of the Holy Spirit! The Spirit is active in the regeneration of His people and is with us throughout our lives. May we pray for felt presence of the Holy Spirit to be with us, and give thanks for the blessings it brings. Acts 2:36-42
Pastor Kenneth Brantley reminds us to continue steadfastly in apostles' doctrine. We are blessed to love God because He first loved us, may we all endeavor to follow him and his commandments. May we also remember we have a risen Savior, who, this day, is seated at the right hand of God. Acts 2:40-47
How blessed are we to have received the word of God, being first born of The Spirit. May we believe His truths and trust His word, and be Baptized because of His merciful sacrifice that paid our sin debt. Pastor Kenneth Brantley reminds of us the blessing of the Spirit that freely reaches His people. Acts 2:36-42
Pastor Kenneth Brantley preaches from Acts 2, reminding us that all of God's children shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Let us remember it was our sins that were placed upon our Lord and Savior at the Cross, but by his Grace and the calling of the Spirit we can come to Him!
